Consulting
Personnel seeking to engage in outside consulting must have such work approved in advance by the University and/or UPMC, depending on specific appointment and affiliation.
Licensed Start-up Companies
Access documents to facilitate Conflict of Interest Committee (COIC) review of a proposed Licensed Start-up Company.
Faculty Use of University Time
The University allows faculty to use up to one day per week on the average of their University time to engage in approved outside consulting and other similar activities.
